Subject: WOW! Best Show I've Heard!
Where do I start? The Sound is extraordinary! Each instrument is clear and nicely balanced, THANK YOU for taping this and posting this gem! The set itself is a great combination of their high energy rockin' stuff and some of the sweeter tunes. Speaing of beauty, I loved how Justin's Kora sang sweetly in a great Kaira, and Mail Sadjo, then the tenderness continued with Hommage, and Rooster with a perfect segway into Wassoulou! Buncombe to Badala was a great way to end the first set giving us a taste of the energy in set 2 (great dirty and distorted guitar from Drew). Set 2 was a jaw dropper with amazing energy from the crowd and boys alike. Set 2 also featured (IMO) some of the best improvisation that I've heard from them with a spacey and crazy Chasse, and crazy Moose.
Overall the best crafted set, sound quality, and energy I've ever heard from Toubab! I wish I was there.
